Virginia is an osteopath practicing in Te Atatu Peninsula, Auckland. She lives locally with her husband and two young children.
Virginia graduated with her Masters of Osteopathy in 2007. She initially ran a busy practice in Albany, Auckland, before she began splitting her time between clinical work and teaching at Unitec’s Osteopathy School. These days Virginia is busy with family life so she has chosen to restart her osteopathic practice closer to home.
Virginia did her postgraduate training in Cranial Osteopathy through the Sutherland Cranial Teaching Foundation of Australia and New Zealand. She enjoys working with this modality to treat a wide range of conditions.
In her clinical practice, Virginia relishes the challenge of working with people that are facing complex issues with their health. This often includes chronic pain, headaches, or recurrent injury. She enjoys collaborating with other health professionals to ensure that her patients are accessing the best healthcare possible.
Virginia has a particular interest in working with children to support their health and wellbeing through optimal movement development. She is also passionate in her work supporting people through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and the physical demands of parenting.
Virginia is part of the team at the Osteopathic Children’s Foundation. This charitable trust provides free osteopathic treatment for children with high healthcare needs, or children who would not otherwise have access to osteopathic care.
